Mission Statement of the California State PTA: The mission of the California State PTA is to positively impact the lives of all children and families by representing our members and empowering and supporting them with skills in advocacy, leadership, and communications. What does your PTA Do? In order to help our children and their families, RH Dana PTA sponsors programs such as: Field Trips - Your PTA provides each grade level a large sum to fund their field trips (Fundraising Goal - Approx. $6,000) Meet the Masters - Your PTA pays for the art program Meet the Masters (Fundraising Goal - Approx. $4,000) School Supplies & Improvements - Your PTA reimburses teachers for school supplies, and would like to purchase a new sound system for the MPR this year. (Fundraising Goal - Approx. $15,000). Carnival - Your PTA organizes and hosts the end of the year Carnival (Fundraising Goal - Approx. $5,000) We host the Talent Show, Jog-A-Thon and Around the World plus much, much more... Come and support your R.H. Dana PTA! Join us Saturday, February 2nd at 11am for Around the World Multi-Cultural Fair!! Each grade level has chosen a country and will have a booth with food, activities, art and more from that culture. Food tasting plates and drinks will be sold for $1 each and you can even get an Around the World Passport! Open House and Scholastic Book Fair! The book fair will be open the week of February 18th to the 22nd at lunch and after school. The book fair will also be open at Open House on Thursday, February 21st. The PTA will be selling pizza, drinks and baked goods at Open House as well. FUTURE EVENTS ON THE HORIZON: Festival of Whales Parade Come march with your classmates in the Festival of Whales Parade through the streets of Dana Point on March 2nd to show our school spirit!
